And with this, we come full circle.
At East Tennessee State University I majored in photography in the fine arts department. My ambition was to become the next Ansel Adams. I hiked throughout the Great Smoky Mountains carrying a big and heavy 4X5 view camera shooting black and white photographs. But the problem is that the Smokies and the Tennessee Valley are too colorful to capture adequately with anything less than a full palette.
